Thanksgiving is a special time of year. It is a time to reflect on the many blessings bestowed upon us, and give thanks. One can keep track of the many people who partake in the listing for thirty days all they are grateful for in their lives. The realm is one which can be as big as a new home, or as simple as a much needed pair of shoes, and some even the meal to which they so graciously give thanks. We are a very blessed community filled with many who strive to fulfill the basic and simple needs of others. To get up each day, have a choice in what to wear that day, deciding what to pull out of the freezer to fix for dinner after work, all simple tasks to which we have grown accustomed. While there are those who are feeling lost as they stare at an empty cupboard. The struggle with their pride is lost as reality resonates with the cries of the hungry wanting to be fed.
